Sao Paulo beat Flamengo 4-2 to end their unbeaten run in the Brazilian Championships. Borges scored twice as Sao Paulo claimed a crucial away win and move up to sixth place in the championships. Sao Paulo, who are defending champions have been able to score just two wins this season. For Flamengo, this was their first loss in six rounds. Flamengo still remain at the top of the table with a superior goal difference.
