Russia brush past Holland 3-1 in extra time to march into the semi finals of Euro 2008. Roman Pavlyuchenko opened the scoring in the 56th minute. Rudd Van Nistelrooy replied in the 86th minute to force the tie into extra time. Andrei Arshavin assisted Dmitri Torbinski for Russia’s second and then followed up with his own for the day to complete an emphatic victory. Russia will play the winners of the 4th quarter final between Spain & Italy.
