Jelena Jankovic beat 17 year old Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 in the third round at Wimbledon after suffering an injury to her left knee at the beginning the match. Jankovic is set to play Tamarine Tanasugarn in the round of 16 and will undergo intensive treatment over the next 48 hours. In another match, four time champion Venus Williams had a comfortable 6-1, 7-5 win over Spanish qualifier Maria Martinez Sanchez. She will meet Russian Alisa Kleybanova in the fourth round.
