LDU Quito of Ecuador have advanced to the final of the Copa Libertadores with an away goals win over Mexican side America. The match was marred by foul play with America being reduced to 9 men. Both sides made several attempts at scoring, but the second leg semi final ended in a goalless draw. Luis Bolanos had scored Quito's the decisive away goal in their one all draw at the Azteca Stadium. This is the first time the Ecuadorian team have reached the Copa final.
