Sourav Ganguly scored his maiden test double century against Pakistan in the final test match at Bangalore. Ganguly continued his splendid form in this series and reached the milestone. This is the highest score by an Indian at this ground as records ponder. This was a great recovery by India as they were stumbling at 61 for 4 in the first session of day 1.
