Australia have won the Men’s Champion’s Trophy beating Spain 4-1 in the final in Rotterdam. The Aussies opened the scoring in the 5th minute through Desmond Abbott but Xavi Ribas’ powerful flick ensured the scores were level at half time. Jamie Dwyer took Australia ahead early in the second half, then Eddie Ockenden and Eli Matheson put in two quick goals in the last ten minutes to seal the win. In the third place match, Argentina beat Holland 2-2 (5-3) on penalties.
