Manchester United's Edvin Van der Saar saved the crucial penalty hit by Chelsea's Nicholas Anelka to win the title for Manchester United. Christiano Ronaldo Missed a penalty soon followed by a miss by John Terry. Hence it was even before Van der Saar saved it. United achieved their first double in their history.
